Lisa Hutcheson is a respected retail expert with nearly 30 years of experience, beginning her journey on the sales floor and progressing to senior leadership roles at two of Canada's largest multi-store retailers. As Managing Partner at J.C. Williams Group, a renowned retail consulting firm, Lisa specializes in developing retail strategies for retailers, shopping centers, Business Improvement Areas (BIAs), and other customer-centric businesses.

Lisa is also the co-founder of the Retail Education Store, a passion project born during the COVID-19 pandemic, as a go-to resource hub and ecosystem to support independent retailers.

Lisa is recognized as a Top Retail Expert by RETHINK RETAIL and has shared her insights on retail trends, speaking on stages for events such as Retail Council of Canada, ICSC, and Dx3. She is also frequently quoted and a go-to retail expert by major media outlets. An adjunct professor at Seneca College, Lisa teaches in the fashion business faculty and has co-authored two books for the Retail Council of Canada.
